Washington Nationals starting pitcher, STEPHEN STRASBURG, strikes out New York Mets lead-off hitter Curtis Granderson in the first inniing at citiField. STRASBURG turned in one of his best performances, pitching 6 innings allowing only 6 hits and one run and striking out 10 batters, leading the Nationals to a 9-1 victory. STRASBURG now is 7-0 and has won 13 consecutive starts over the last two years, a national league record.
