  • In a critical point of the game, New York Yankees manager, AARON BOONE, goes out to the mound in the top of the 6th inning unsure whether to take out his starting pitcher JAMES PAXTON with two outs and a runner on base. After a brief meeting on the mound Boone decides to leave PAXTON in the game for the final out. PAXTON delivers by getting Robinson Chirinos to fly out to deep center field in front of the left-field scoreboard. The Yankees went on to win 4-1.

  • New York Yankess slugger, Giancarlo Stanton, strikes out in the ninth inning against Boston Red Sox closer, Keith Kimbral. Stanton went 0-4 while Aaron Judge went 0-3 as the Yankees’s two home run hitters were held hitless in a disappointing 4-3 loss to the Red Sox who won the AL Division series.

    Boston Red Sox catcher, CHRISTIAN VASQUEZ, who hit the winning home run in the fourth inning to give the Red Sox a 4-0 lead.

    The Red Sox will now face last year’s World Series Champions, the Houston Astros, in the AL CHAMPIONSHIP SERIES.
