Aaron Boone

  • In a critical point of the game, New York Yankees manager, AARON BOONE, goes out to the mound in the top of the 6th inning unsure whether to take out his starting pitcher JAMES PAXTON with two outs and a runner on base. After a brief meeting on the mound Boone decides to leave PAXTON in the game for the final out. PAXTON delivers by getting Robinson Chirinos to fly out to deep center field in front of the left-field scoreboard. The Yankees went on to win 4-1.

Take a look at our 6 selected images from last night’s game 5 of the ALCS, won by the Yankees 4-1.

All of the action occurred in the first inning when the Astros scored 1 run on a pass ball and wild pitch and the Yankees scored 4 runs on two home runs, one of which was a 3run shot by Aaron Hicks.

James Paxton pitched  a great game.
