  • Boston Red Sox starting pitcher, CHRIS SALE, throws his first pitch of the game to New York Yankees leadoff hitter DJ LeMahieu. Sale recorded another poor performance, pitching 5 innings and allowing 7 hits and 4 runs as the Yankees went on to win 8-0. Sale is now 0-4, his worst start in his career.

Check out these 6 selected images from tonight’s Boston Red Sox vs. New York Yankees game from Yankee Stadium, won by the Yankees 8-0.

New York Yankees starting pitcher, JAMES PAXTON, recorded the strongest Yankee pitching performance of the year. PAXTON pitched 8 complete innings, allowing no runs, 2 hits, striking out 12, with only one walk.

Boston Red Sox woes continue. CHRIS SALE, Red Sox Ace, had another very poor performance, allowing 4 runs, 7 hits, while striking out 6 over 5 innings. SALE is now 0-4, his worst start in his pitching career.

New York Yankees hitting stars were CLINT FRAZIER, LUKE VOIT, AND LF TAUCHMAN. Red Sox bats were silent with only 3 hits and no runs.

The Red Sox are now 6-12, one of the worst starts in franchise history.

  • Boston Red Sox starting pitcher, CHRIS SALE , gives up a leadoff single to Toronto Blue Jays right fielder Randal Grichuk in the top of the fourth inning. The Blue Jays scored 3 runs in the inning and went on to defeat the Boston Red Sox 7-5 in Boston’s home opener.

Check out these 10 selected images from today’s Boston Home opener against the Toronto Blue Jays, won by the Blue Jays 7-5.  Toronto’s starting pitcher, MATT SHOEMAKER, had another strong performance, allowing only 3runs and 5 hits over 5 2/3rd innings. He is now 3-0.

Unfortunately for the Red Sox, their ACE, CHRIS SALE, had another poor performance, allowing 5 runs, 7 hits over 4 innings and he is now 0-3. I sent you two very nice shots of these pitchers.

In the top of ninth inning, Blue Jays short stop FREDDY GALVIS hit an RBI double, giving the Blue Jays a 7-5 lead that they never relinquished.

I also am sending you images of key hits by MITCH MORELAND, XANDER BOGAERTS, AND MOOKIE BETTS.  The final two images are of Blue Jays closer, K GILES  striking out Mookie Betts to end the game.

I think it will be a long season for the Sox.

  • Boston Red Sox starting pitcher, CHRIS SALE, throws the first pitch of game one of the World Series to Los Angeles lead off hitter Brian Dozier. SALE pitched only four innings, allowing five hits, 3 runs win 7 strike outs, but was not the pitcher of record. The Red Sox went on to win 8-4 on the strength of their relief pitching.

Check out these 7 selected images from Game One of the World Series won by the Red Sox 8-4. The Star of the game was Red Sox third baseman, EDUARD NUNEZ, who hit a three-run pinch-hit home run in the 7th inning to lead the Red Sox to victory. Red Sox relievers, particularly NATHAN EOVALDI and closer, CRAIG KIMBREL, were outstanding and preserved the victory for the Red Sox.
ANDREW BENINTENDI went 4 for 5.

  • In a rare relief appearance, Boston Red Sox ace, Chris Sale, strikes out Aaron Hicks in the eighth inning. SALE pitched a perfect 1-2-3 eighth inning to protect a 4-1 lead. The Red Sox went on to defeat the New York Yankees 4-3 and win the AL Division Series.

Check out these six selected images from tonight’s Boston Red Sox/ New York Yankees game from Yankees stadium where the Red Sox defeated the Yankees 4-3 to win the AL DIVISIONAL SERIES.

Stars of the game were Red Sox starting pitcher, RICK PORCELLO, who held the Yankees to only 4 hits and one run over five innings for his first postseason victory; CHRIS SALE, who in a rare relief appearance, pitched a perfect 1-2-3 eighth inning to protect a 4-1 lead; and

Boston Red Sox catcher, CHRISTIAN VASQUEZ, who hit the winning home run in the fourth inning to give the Red Sox a 4-0 lead.

I included 2 iconic celebration shots as well.

The Red Sox will now face last year’s World Series Champions, the Houston Astros, in the AL CHAMPIONSHIP SERIES.

  • Boston Red Sox pitcher, CHRIS SALE, normally a starter, was asked to play an important role as relief pitcher against the Houston Astros in game 4 of the Divisional series. SALE pitched 4 2/3rd innings relieving starter Rick Porcello, allowing 4 hits, striking out 6 but giving up a game tying home run to Alex Bregman in the eighth inning. The Astros defeated the Red Sox 5-4 and go on to the ALCS.

Take a look at these fantastic but pivotal selected images from today’s Houston Astros/ Boston Red Sox game 4 of the Divisional Series won by the Astros 5-4. It was a strange game, it rained throughout the game; both teams used their number 1 starting pitcher as key relievers in this game…. and Boston Red Sox manager, John Farrell, was ejected from the game in the second inning for arguing a called third strike. The Red Sox should have won, but didn’t.
I hope you enjoy these key moments of the game.
