  • Boston Red Sox second baseman, Dustin Pedroia, hits a lead-off single in the top of the ninth inning of of Blue Jays closer K Giles. The Red Sox went on to lose 7-5 in their home opener.

Check out these 10 selected images from today’s Boston Home opener against the Toronto Blue Jays, won by the Blue Jays 7-5.  Toronto’s starting pitcher, MATT SHOEMAKER, had another strong performance, allowing only 3runs and 5 hits over 5 2/3rd innings. He is now 3-0.

Unfortunately for the Red Sox, their ACE, CHRIS SALE, had another poor performance, allowing 5 runs, 7 hits over 4 innings and he is now 0-3. I sent you two very nice shots of these pitchers.

In the top of ninth inning, Blue Jays short stop FREDDY GALVIS hit an RBI double, giving the Blue Jays a 7-5 lead that they never relinquished.

I also am sending you images of key hits by MITCH MORELAND, XANDER BOGAERTS, AND MOOKIE BETTS.  The final two images are of Blue Jays closer, K GILES  striking out Mookie Betts to end the game.

I think it will be a long season for the Sox.
