  • Houston Astros catcher, ROBINSON CHIRINOS, singles off of Nationals starting pitcher Anibal Sanchez in the second inning. The Astros went on to defeat the Nationals 4-1.

The first captures the very first pitch of this historic game by Nationals starting pitcher, ANIBAL SANCHEZ.

The second image is a very nice shot of Houston’s starting pitcher, ZACK GREINKE, striking out Nationals young super star, JUAN SOTO.

The Third image captures Houston’s hitting star of the game, JOSE ALTUVE, who hit 2 doubles and scored twice.

The fourth image is of SCREECH, Washington Nationals mascot, cheering on the excited crowd.

The final image is Houston’s closer, ROBERTO OSUNA, striking out JUAN SOTO to end the game.

  • Houston Astros starting pitcher, Justin Verlander, gives up a pair of first-inning home runs for the first time in 28 post season starts and four runs in an inning for the first time since joining the Astros in August 2017. VERLANDER went on to pitch 7 innings  allowing 5 hits and 9 strike outs walking none but taking the 4-1 loss.

Take a look at our 6 selected images from last night’s game 5 of the ALCS, won by the Yankees 4-1.

All of the action occurred in the first inning when the Astros scored 1 run on a pass ball and wild pitch and the Yankees scored 4 runs on two home runs, one of which was a 3run shot by Aaron Hicks.

James Paxton pitched  a great game.

There is also a nice shot of Mariano pitching again at Yankee Stadium.

The pitching star of the real game was Justin Verlander(10-3), who became the third 10-game winner in the AL, allowing 3 runs and 4 hits over 7 Innings, striking out 9 and walking only 2.  I captured a very nice image of Verlander throwing a strike to DJ LeMahieu.

Two of the hitting stars for the Astros were first baseman Tyler White, who hit his first grand slam home run in the fourth inning, and designated hitter

Yordan Alvarez, who hit a two-run home run in the fifth inning, tying a big league record with his 7th home run in 12 games to begin his career. I got two very good shots of White and Alvarez.

Despite their loss today, the Yankees look like a potential World Series Champion again
