Check out these 5 selected images from today’s NFC DIVISIONAL GAME won by the New Orleans Saints 20-14 over the Philadelphia Eagles.

It was a heartbreaking loss for the Eagles, who looked like they were going to make a last minute comeback, driving down to the Saints 27 yard line with approximately two minutes to play and trailing the Saints by only 6 points(20-14). At this point, disaster struck the Eagles as a Nick Foles pass to wide receiver, ALSHON JEFFREY, was deflected off of his fingertips and intercepted by the Saints cornerback, MARSHON LATTIMORE, thus ending the Eagles threat. ALSHON and the Eagles suffered the proverbial Agony of Defeat. (ironically, as the Chicago Bears did last week against the Eagles on a deflected field goal attempt)

The other highlights of the game that I sent you were: Eagles wide receiver JORDAN MATTHEWS celebrating the first touchdown of the game and NICK FOLES leaping and scoring the second touchdown of the game.

There is great joy in the Big Easy tonight.

I have uploaded seven selected images from tonight’s NFC Championship game won by the Philadelphia Eagles 38-7. The Eagles and their quarterback NICK FOLES in particular, played their best game of the year routing the Minnesota Vikings 38-7. As NFC Champions, the Philadelphia Eagles now face the New England Patriots in the SUPER BOWL, an event that the Eagles have never won. But THIS MAY BE THEIR YEAR.
I will be there again, in the front row, right behind the goal posts hoping to capture another Iconic moment. This will be my 12th consecutive SUPER BOWL.

  • Philadelphia Eagles defensive end FLETCHER COX rushes Atlanta Falcons quarterback MATT RYAN, forcing him to shuffel the ball for an incomplete pass in the third quarter in the NFC Divisiional Playoff game. The Eagles went on to win 15-10 and will face the winner of the Minnesota Vikings/ New Orleans Saints game for the NFC Championship.

Uploaded in this group are six selected images from today’s NFC Divisional Playoff game between the Philadelphia Eagles and the Atlanta Falcons and won by the Eagles 15-10. The Eagles victory was highlighted by a solid performance by quarterback NICK FOLES who went 23 of 30 for 246 yards and no turnovers; a very strong performance by the Eagles defensive and offensive lines; and by three field goals by kicker JAKE ELLIOT, the first of which was a 53 yarder for the last play of the first half. The six images capture these moments.
The Eagles' strategy wasn't to simply run the football against the Falcons. The idea was for the Eagles' offensive line to pound the Falcons defense into submission. And it worked.Everybody expected the Eagles to lean on the ground attack in their playoff game on Saturday. Most felt it necessary to hide or protect Nick Foles. Some thought it time to unleash workhorse running back Jay Ajayi. Strong wind and freezing temperatures were factors as well. The steady barrage of runs still helped to soften a Falcons pass rush that recorded just one sack and four quarterback hits in the contest. Foles looked increasingly comfortable as the game progressed, consistently stepping up into clean pockets and throwing darts to keep the chains moving.

The Eagles now face the winner of the Minnesota Vikings/ New Orleans Saints game for the NFC CHAMPIONSHIP. I will be there next week and also at the Super Bowl on February 4. As you know, the Eagles are one of the few teams that have never won a Super Bowl.

Nick Foles threw four touchdown passes in his first start, replacing the injured Carson Wentz. In addition to two of these touchdown passes, I captured three outstanding defensive plays: a blocked punt, a blocked field goal, and a critical interception by Ronald Darby. The BLOCKED PUNT is a special moment.
