Washington Nationals second baseman, RYAN ZIMMEREMAN, singles off of Houston Astros starting pitcher Zack Greinke in the bottom of the second inning. The Houston Astros went on to defeat the Nationals 4-1.

Tonight I was privileged to attend and photograph an historic event. The first World Series game in Washington D.C. in 86 years.

The first captures the very first pitch of this historic game by Nationals starting pitcher, ANIBAL SANCHEZ.

The second image is a very nice shot of Houston’s starting pitcher, ZACK GREINKE, striking out Nationals young super star, JUAN SOTO.

The Third image captures Houston’s hitting star of the game, JOSE ALTUVE, who hit 2 doubles and scored twice.

The fourth image is of SCREECH, Washington Nationals mascot, cheering on the excited crowd.

The final image is Houston’s closer, ROBERTO OSUNA, striking out JUAN SOTO to end the game.
