  • Boston Red Sox shortstop, XANDER BOGAERTS, celebrates hitting a two-run home run in the top of the 4th inning against New York Yankees starting pitcher, DOMINGO GERMAN, tying the game 3-3. Despite his efforts(BOGAERTS WENT 3 FOR 3), the Yankees defeated the Red Sox 5-3. The Red Sox have now lost 6 out of their last 8 games and have fallen 9 1/2 games behind the division leading Yankees.

6 selected images  from tonight’s Boston Red Sox vs. New York Yankees game, won by the Yankees 5-3. The Yankees have now won 15 of their last 18 games and clinched their ninth straight series victory, a feat that the Yankees have not accomplished since 1998.  The Red Sox, on the other hand, have lost 6 out their last 8 games, and have fallen 9 ½ games behind the division leading Yankees. This may be the Yankees’ year.

Joe Torre was honored prior to the game as part of  the pregame festivities recognizing Prostate Cancer month.

Gary Sanchez hit his game tie-breaking 18th home run putting the Yankees ahead for good and Aroldis Chapman preserved the victory, his 17th save in 18 tries.

ON the Red Sox side of the ledger, Xander Bogaerts went 3 for 3, with a game tying two-run home run in the top of the fourth inning.

  • Boston Red Sox short stop XANDER BOGAERTS hits an RBI double in the bottom of the eighth inning bringing the Red Sox to within one run of the Blue jays, traililng 6-5. The Blue Jays scored an additional run in the top of the 9th inning and went on to defeat the Red Sox 7-5 in their home opener.

Check out these 10 selected images from today’s Boston Home opener against the Toronto Blue Jays, won by the Blue Jays 7-5.  Toronto’s starting pitcher, MATT SHOEMAKER, had another strong performance, allowing only 3runs and 5 hits over 5 2/3rd innings. He is now 3-0.

Unfortunately for the Red Sox, their ACE, CHRIS SALE, had another poor performance, allowing 5 runs, 7 hits over 4 innings and he is now 0-3. I sent you two very nice shots of these pitchers.

In the top of ninth inning, Blue Jays short stop FREDDY GALVIS hit an RBI double, giving the Blue Jays a 7-5 lead that they never relinquished.

I also am sending you images of key hits by MITCH MORELAND, XANDER BOGAERTS, AND MOOKIE BETTS.  The final two images are of Blue Jays closer, K GILES  striking out Mookie Betts to end the game.

I think it will be a long season for the Sox.

  • Boston Red Sox shortstop, XANDER BOGAERTS, doubles in the bottom of the ninth inning off of Tampa Bay Rays closer Alex Colome to tie the game 2-2. The Red Sox went on to win 3-2 in the bottom of the 12th inning on a bases-loaded single by Hanley Ramirez, winning their 6th straight victory.

Uploaded here are 6 selected images from today’s Red Sox home opener won by the Sox 3-2 in 12 innings. Based on the strong pitching of starter DAVID PRICE and reliever BOBBY POYNER coupled with the clutch hitting of HANLEY RAMIREZ, who drove in the winning run in the bottom of the 12th inning with a clutch hit with bases loaded, the Red Sox won their 6th straight game.
I am now headed for the New York Yankees home opener on April 2.

  • Boston Red Sox shortstop XANDER BOGAERTS, homers in the first inning off of Astros starting pitcher Charlie Morton tying the game a 1-1. The Astros went on to win game 4 of the Divisional Series 5-4 and now go on to the ALCS.

Take a look at these fantastic but pivital selected images from today’s Houston Astros/ Boston Red Sox game 4 of the Divisional Series won by the Astros 5-4. It was a strange game, it rained throughout the game; both teams used their number 1 starting pitcher as key relievers in this game…. and Boston Red Sox manager, John Farrell, was ejected from the game in the second inning for arguing a called third strike. The Red Sox should have won, but didn’t.
I hope you enjoy these key moments of the game.
