South Carolina forward, CHRIS SILVA, blocks a shot by Florida Gator guard, CHRIS CHIOZZA, in th second half of the NCAA East Regional Final at Madison Square Garden. After trailing 44-33 in the first half, the South Carolina Gamecocks played a ferociuis defense in the second half and defeated the Florida Gators 77-70.

Take a look at this and the other selected images from today’s NCAA East Regional Finals at Madison Square Garden.  After trailing 40-33 in the first half, the South Carolina Gamecocks played a ferocious defense in the second half and defeated the Florida Gators 77-70.  South Carolina guard, SINDARIUS THORNWELL, led all scorers with 26 points.  But it was the Gamecocks defense, led by Forward Chris Silva that bottled up the Gators offense and turned the game around.  The Gamecocks now travel to Phoenix to compete in the Final Four.
