    DEFENSIVE PLAY OF THE GAME: New York Giants running back ORLEANS DARKWA is stopped by linebacker JOE WALKER and defensive end VINNY CURRY on fourth down from inside the one yard line in the final seconds of the first half giving the Eagles a 7-0 lead going into the third quarter. The Eagles were leading 14-0 in the fourth quarter when the Giants suddenly came alive and scored 21 consecutive points to take a 21-14 lead. Under the leadership of Eagles quarterback CARSON WENTZ the Eagles tied the game and eventually won 27-24 on a 61 yard field goal by Eagles kicker Jake Elliot as time ran out.
