  • I was privileged to attend and photograph this historic event: the first World Series game played in Washington D.C. in 86 years. The pair of photos are the perfect gift for any Nationals’ fan (or for your own wall).
This limited edition set of photos, which include (1) a beautiful panoramic shot from the stands of both teams lining up at the start of the game, and (2) World Series MVP and Nationals pitcher, Stephen Strasburg, are perfectly matted and signed by the artist.

  • Washington Nationals starting pitcher, STEPHEN STRASBURG, throws the first pitch of the game to Mets Brandon Nimmo. STRASBURG pitched 6 2/3rd innings, allowing only 3 hits, no runs, striking out 9 to lead the Nationals to a 4-0 victory over the New York Mets in their home opener.

Check out these 8 selected images from today’s New York Mets home opener.  The Washington Nationals won 4-0.

This match up included two of the national league’s finest pitchers. STEPHEN STRASBURG from the Washington Nationals, and NOAH SYNERGAARD from the Mets, faced each other in the Mets home opener at Citi FIELD.  STRASBURG won the day, pitching 6 2/3rd innings, allowing no runs, 3 hits, and striking out 9. I captured three outstanding images of STRASBURG. New York Mets NOAH SYNDERGAARD pitched a gem of a game.  Allowing only 1 hit and 2 runs. I sent you SYNDERGAARD’S first pitch of the game.

One of Washington’s hitting stars was outfielder, VICTOR ROBLES, who hit a home run in the top of the 6th inning, giving them a 2-0 lead. I got a  very nice of this home run and 2 celebration images.

Finally,  I captured a particularly nice shot of a sacrifice bunt  in the top of the 2nd inning by WILMER DIFO, which gave the Nationals a 1-0 lead, a lead they never relinquished.
