Boston Red Sox shortstop, XANDER BOGAERTS, doubles in the bottom of the ninth inning off of Tampa Bay Rays closer Alex Colome to tie the game 2-2. The Red Sox went on to win 3-2 in the bottom of the 12th inning on a bases-loaded single by Hanley Ramirez, winning their 6th straight victory.

Based on the strong pitching of starter DAVID PRICE and reliever BOBBY POYNER coupled with the clutch hitting of HANLEY RAMIREZ, who drove in the winning run in the bottom of the 12th inning with a clutch hit with bases loaded, the Red Sox won their 6th straight game.
I am now headed for the New York Yankees home opener on April 2.
