With bases loaded in the ninth inning, and the Boston Red Sox trailing the New York Yankees 3-2 , DAVID ORTIZ(BIG PAPI) takes a called third strike from New York Yankees reliever ANDREW MILLER. ORTIZ went to the dugout and slammed down his equipment and was ejected. ORTIZ then stormed back to the plate and had to be restrained by his teammates. The Yankees went on to win 3-2.
Some wild things happened at the Red Sox Yankees game. Questioning the umpires plate calls in the 9th inning, both Farrell and Ortiz were ejected from the game. One can never predict what will happen at these games.
