Description
Boston Red Sox short stop Xander Bogaerts hits an RBI double in the bottom of the eighth inning bringing the Red Sox to within one run of the Blue jays, traililng 6-5. The Blue Jays scored an additional run in the top of the 9th inning and went on to defeat the Red Sox 7-5 in their home opener.
Check out these 10 selected images from today’s Boston Home opener against the Toronto Blue Jays, won by the Blue Jays 7-5. Toronto’s starting pitcher, MATT SHOEMAKER, had another strong performance, allowing only 3runs and 5 hits over 5 2/3rd innings. He is now 3-0.
Unfortunately for the Red Sox, their ACE, CHRIS SALE, had another poor performance, allowing 5 runs, 7 hits over 4 innings and he is now 0-3. I sent you two very nice shots of these pitchers.
In the top of ninth inning, Blue Jays short stop FREDDY GALVIS hit an RBI double, giving the Blue Jays a 7-5 lead that they never relinquished.
I also am sending you images of key hits by MITCH MORELAND, XANDER BOGAERTS, AND MOOKIE BETTS. The final two images are of Blue Jays closer, K GILES striking out Mookie Betts to end the game.
I think it will be a long season for the Sox.
