Philadelphia Eagles James Casey blocks a St. Louis Rams punt on the first offensive series of the game which was picked up by Eagles safey Chris Maragos and returned for a touchdown. This was the second week in a row that the Eagles defense blocked a punt and the first time in history that the Eagles had a touchdown by their special teams in three consecutive games. The Eagles went on to win 34-28 giving them a 4-1 record to start the season.
With 30 seconds left in the second quarter, Philadelphia Eagles wide receiver Riley Cooper out jumps St. Louis Rams cornerback Janoris Jenkins for a 9 yard touchdown giving the Eagles a 20-7 lead to end the first half. The Eagles with a strong effort by their defense and special teams defeated the Rams 34-28.
