  • Boston Red Sox right fielder, Mookie Betts, hits a home run off of Blue Jays starting pitcher, Matt Shoemaker, in the bottom of the 6th inning. The Blue Jays went on to win 7-5 in Boston’s home opener.

    Check out these 10 selected images from today’s Boston Home opener against the Toronto Blue Jays, won by the Blue Jays 7-5.  Toronto’s starting pitcher, MATT SHOEMAKER, had another strong performance, allowing only 3runs and 5 hits over 5 2/3rd innings. He is now 3-0.

    Unfortunately for the Red Sox, their ACE, CHRIS SALE, had another poor performance, allowing 5 runs, 7 hits over 4 innings and he is now 0-3. I sent you two very nice shots of these pitchers.

    In the top of ninth inning, Blue Jays short stop FREDDY GALVIS hit an RBI double, giving the Blue Jays a 7-5 lead that they never relinquished.

    I also am sending you images of key hits by MITCH MORELAND, XANDER BOGAERTS, AND MOOKIE BETTS.  The final two images are of Blue Jays closer, K GILES  striking out Mookie Betts to end the game.

    I think it will be a long season for the Sox.

  • Boston Red Sox short stop XANDER BOGAERTS hits an RBI double in the bottom of the eighth inning bringing the Red Sox to within one run of the Blue jays, traililng 6-5. The Blue Jays scored an additional run in the top of the 9th inning and went on to defeat the Red Sox 7-5 in their home opener.

  • Boston Red Sox starter, Nate Eovaldi, strikes out New York Yankees first baseman Luke Voit in the first inning of game 3 of the Playoff. Eovaldi pitched 7 innings allowing only 1 run, striking out 5 leading the Red Sox to a 16-1 lopsided victory over the Yankees.

    The first image captures Boston Red Sox starter, NATE EOVALDI, striking out New York Yankees first baseman, Luke Voit in the first inning.
    As you know, EOVALDI pitched brilliantly for 7 innings, allowing only 1 run and striking out 5.

    The second image in BROCK HOLT hitting a two-run triple in the 7-run fourth inning. BROCK became the first player in history to hit for the cycle in a post season game. For the evening, he went 4 for 6 driving in 5 runs—-quite a night.

    The third and final image captures ANDREW BENINTENDI hitting a double in the fourth inning and driving in 3 runs.

    The Red Sox now lead the series 2-1 and play game 4 tomorrow night, again at Yankee Stadium.
