The Philadelphia Eagles crushed the Kansas City Chiefs 40-22 in one of the most lopsided Super Bowls ever.
The final score did not reflect how badly the Chiefs were defeated. The score was 24-0 at half time. Jalen Hurts, who was named the MVP of Super BOWL LIX, passed for two touchdowns and ran for another.
Saquon Barkley set an all-time NFL season rushing record(including the super bowl) of 2504 yards vs Denver Broncos’ Terrell Davis 2476 yards in 1998.
The Eagles defense overwhelmed the Chiefs sacking Patrick Holmes 6 times and forcing 2 turnovers.
In short, it was a route, denying the Chiefs of being the only NFL team to win three Super Bowls in a row.
