New York Yankees catcher, GARY SANCHEZ, rounds third base after hitting a tie-breaking home run against Boston Red Sox starting pitcher, RICK PORCELLO, giving the Yankees a 5-3 lead. This was Sanchez’s 18th home run, matching last year’s total for the full year. The Yankees went on to win 5-3.

Gary Sanchez hit his game tie-breaking 18th home run putting the Yankees ahead for good and Aroldis Chapman preserved the victory, his 17th save in 18 tries.

ON the Red Sox side of the ledger, Xander Bogaerts went 3 for 3, with a game tying two-run home run in the top of the fourth inning.
