The record was previously held since 1928 by Figure Skater Sonja Henie. Tara skated a flawless program during the Olympics, which included seven triples and her signature triple loop/triple loop jump combination. Known for her technical abilities and breaking records, Tara became the first female to land a triple loop triple loop in competition.
