The Yankees defeated the Phillies with a score of 4 games to 2, to win their 27th World Series championship.
New York Mets outfielder CURTIS GRANDERSON hits a 2 run home run in the bottom of the 3rd inning off of Kansas City Royals starting pitcher Yordano Ventura giving the Mets a 4-3 lead. The Mets went on to win game 3 of the World Series 9-3.
