In one of the most exciting NFL Playoff Games in recent memory, the Green Bay Packers defeated the Dallas Cowboys 34-31, on a 51 yard field goal by Green Bay kicker, Mason Crosby, as time ran out. Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rogers was masterful throughout the game, completing 28 of 43 passes for 356 yards and 2 touchdowns with 1 interception. With the game tied 31- 31 and only 35 seconds remaining and the ball on Green Bay’s 25 yard line, Rogers took his team down the field with a key play being a 36 yard sidelines pass to tight end Jared Cook which set up the winning field goal.
For the Dallas Cowboys, rookie quarterback Dak Prescott went 24 for 38 for 302 yards for 302 yards and 3 touchdowns with 1 interception. Prescott’s favorite target was wide receiver Dez Bryant who had 9 receptions and 2 touchdowns. Dallas’s leading runner, Ezekiel Elliot, had 22 carries for 125 yards.
Green Bay now travels to Atlanta to face the Atlanta Falcons for the NFC Championship.
