Wayne Gretzky played 20 seasons in the National Hockey League (NHL) for four teams from 1979 to 1999 before finishing his career with the New York Rangers. He is the leading scorer in NHL history, with more goals and more assists than any other player. At the age of 15, Tara Lipinski took home the Gold at the 1998 Nagano Olympics. She became the youngest individual Gold Medalist ever in Winter Games history. The record was previously held since 1928 by Figure Skater Sonja Henie.
Tara skated a flawless program during the Olympics, which included seven triples and her signature triple loop/triple loop jump combination. Known for her technical abilities and breaking records, Tara became the first female to land a triple loop triple loop in competition.
Leading up to the Olympics, Tara became the youngest National and World Champion, as well as the first skater to win two consecutive Grand Prix Final titles in 1997 and 1998.
