Seahawks wide receiver DK Metcalf makes a leaping catch

Seattle Seahawks wide receiver DK METCALF makes a leaping catch of a Russell Wilson pass in the third quarter against the Philadelphia Eagles. The Seahawks went on to defeat the Eagles 17-9.

Despite this underwhelming performance, Wilson is the first QB in NFL history to start his career with eight straight winning seasons.

Take a look at these nine selected images from today’s Seattle Seahawks vs. Philadelphia Eagles game, won by the Seahawks 17-9.

The first two images are nice shots of Seattle’s only two touchdowns—a spectacular over-the-shoulder catch by wide receiver, MALIK TURNER, for a 33yard scoring play;  and a 58 yard run up the middle by Seattle’s running back, RASHAAD PENNY.  I also sent you a really nice leaping catch of a Russell Wilson pass by DK METCALF.

For the Eagles, I am sending  you an image that captures the misery felt by CARSON WENTZ as he left the field utterly dejected by his poor performance.

The Eagles defense played very well and I am sending you two outstanding defensive plays—- an  interception of a Russell Wilson pass by RODNEY McCleod; and a MALCOLM Sack of Russell Wilson.

The final shot is something a little different—an interesting image of KYLE TANGUAY, the first male cheerleader for the Eagles in 35 years.

While the Philadelphia Eagles’ defense played a strong game, the Eagles dropped their second straight game losing 17-9.

Carson Wentz gave the Eagles an injury scare during the third quarter of Sunday’s Week 12 matchup against the Seattle Seahawks at Lincoln Financial Field.

Wentz ran to the locker room at the end of the third quarter while the Eagles’ defense was on the field.

Wentz was seemingly injured on a blown handoff during the third quarter of the game. The failed handoff led to a fumble, which forced Wentz to make a tackle to stop the return. Running back Miles Sanders was to blame for the mishandled exchange.

Wentz seemed to injury his right (throwing) hand on the play.

Following the play, Wentz threw and took snaps from center Jason Kelce on the sideline. He returned to the field for the next series but then headed to the locker room following an incomplete pass on third down.

After spending a few minutes in the locker room, Wentz sprinted back onto the sideline and resumed throwing the ball near the Eagles’ bench.

Since Wentz left the game while the Eagles’ defense was on the field, backup Josh McCown wasn’t forced to immediately replace him. Wentz returned to the game after the defense gave up a 58-yard rushing touchdown to Seahawks running back Chris Carson.

Wentz and the offense struggled throughout the first three quarters of the game. The quarterback completed just 10-of-16 passes for 62 yards and an interception in the first half.
