Red Sox outfielder Mookie Betts doubles to lead off the game

Boston Red Sox outfielder, MOOKIE BETTS, doubles to lead off the game against New York Yankees starter C.C. Sabathia. MOOKIE went 3 for 4 driving his batting average to 361 and leading the Red Sox to a 5-4 victory over the New York Yankees.

Uploaded here are four really outstanding images from tonight’s New York Yankees/ Boston Red Sox game from Fenway park. Boston’s starting pitcher, RICK PORCELLO, threw a gem of a game, pitching a no-hitter for 6 innings, and allowing only 2 hits, no runs, no walks, while striking out 6 for seven innings.
Boston had a scare in the first inning when HANLEY RAMIREZ was hit on the wrist by a pitch thrown by the Yankee’s starting pitcher Sonny Gray and RAMIREZ had to leave the game. Fortunately, XRAYS subsequently showed that RAMIREZ suffered a contusion but no broken bones.
The Red Sox went on to win 6-3, taking the first 2 out 3 games in the series.
